Hi! I’m Debi, the owner and founder of Mac It Sweet Bakery. I was born and raised in Washington State and recently relocated to Illinois, bringing with me a lifelong passion for baking and creating delicious, homemade treats.

My baking journey began with my very first apple pie. It didn’t turn out quite like my mom’s, but with practice, I eventually perfected it — and that’s where my love for baking truly began.

Over the years, I enjoyed making homemade desserts, though most of my cakes came from a box and were topped with canned frosting. That all changed when I started focusing on healthier choices and paying closer attention to the ingredients in my food.

That shift inspired me to bake everything from scratch and experiment with new techniques. My family, friends, and coworkers became my biggest supporters — and their encouragement gave me the confidence to turn my passion into a business.

At Mac It Sweet Bakery, every treat is made with care, quality ingredients, and a whole lot of love. My goal is to share the joy of homemade baking with every customer and create desserts that taste just as good as they make you feel.
